Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina

The East and West Courses at The Grandover Resort serve as the centerpiece of an exciting development featuring a world class conference center and high end residential component. The courses were specifically designed to provide two distinct playing experiences for guests of the resort and golfing public.

Designed as a potential PGA Tour stop, the East Course plays to a length of more than 7,000 yards and featuring large bunkers and softly undulating greens nestled among strategically planned gallery mounds. On the other side of the project, the land was much more rugged and featured existing marshes and wetlands. To take advantage of these landforms, the West Course plays to a comfortable length of 6,700 yards, and was built with numerous pot bunkers and more of a target golf style of play on the hilly terrain.

The Grandover courses were designed and built during Gary Stephenson's tenure as Senior Designer with Graham & Panks International.
